Appellation: Texas High Plains
The Eden Hill 2016 Moscato Giallo is the classic example of a winner for sweet wine lovers! Its 100% Moscato Giallo varietal originated from the Texas High Plains. 4.5% residual sugar proves to be just the right amount of sweetness in this well-balanced wine. Tropical fruit notes of lime and subtle pineapple marry well with its luscious texture. Eden Hill winemaker Chris Hornbaker calls it a summertime favorite and is proud of it winning a silver medal at the 2017 Lone Star International Wine Competition! Following the rule of thumb, sweet cuts heat, we like to pair this flavorful wine with any spicy dish such as a Thai curry in addition to sipping with gorgonzola and Manchego cheeses!
