The 2014 Triple ‘R’ Ranch & Winery Montepulciano has a brilliant day-bright color of ruby-garnet with an intense orange hue at the rim.  The nose holds aromas of black cherries wrapped in a dried strawberry compote with an underlying expression of red clay earthiness.  The weight of the wine is medium-bodied with flavors of red and black fruit, followed by a slight dose of cola spice.  The wine possesses a pleasant balance of acidity and smooth tannins on the finish.

Description

2014 Palazzi Di Guistizia Montepulciano

The iconic courthouse in Downtown McKinney, depicted on the label of our 2014 Montepulciano, has served as the heart of the square since 1875. The Ross family found it only fitting to name this wine after the structure that has dutifully served as sentry over their community for almost 150 years. Our Palazzo di Giustizia (Palace of Justice in Italian) is made from the Montepulciano grape native to Tuscany and the 2nd most planted grape in Italy.  This beautiful red is to be enjoyed with every day of the week!  Its easy drinking character makes it perfect for large family gatherings.  Elegant aromas of black cherry and dried strawberry are followed by the same juicy fruit on the palate.  You’ll love the mouth-watering racy acidity of this feisty Italian red!  Salute!
