Similar in style to the Blanc Du Bois Dry, this wine maintained a higher level of residual sugar during fermentation and is off dry in style. The nose carries the same pink grapefruit characteristics finishing with citrus and lemon grass flavors with refreshing acidity.

Triple R Ranch & Winery Big Red Reserve Cabernet

Big Red Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

This Cabernet displays a vibrant nose of black cherry, blackberry, and cherry with a hint of toffee. The fruit for this medium to full-bodied red suggests that the wine can age another 3-5 years in the bottle. A Texas-sized beef filet or ribeye steak is a good choice for a food and wine match to accentuate the complex flavors of this Texas Cabernet. Per the winemaker "...the best wine I have made."

Big Red Reserve Meritage 2004

Our Meritage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sangiovese. Deep ruby purple in color this "Big Red" carries aromas of blackberry, cassis, and vanilla bean. This big bold red displays nuances of dark berry fruit, toffee, and gentle oak. A must have for a grilled Porterhouse with sautéed mushrooms. 2004 Meritage will age for at least eight years in the bottle adding a rich complexity at its peak.

  Triple R Ranch & Winery Blackbuck Antelope Reserve Merlot

Blackbuck Antelope Reserve Merlot 2005

This Reserve Merlot is 100% Texas merlot grapes with 65% coming from the Red River Vineyard in the Texoma AVA and the remaining being sourced from the Rising Star Vineyard in the Texas High Plains AVA. The color of this wine displays a light ruby-garnet hue with aromas of black cherry, cranberry, sage and a subtle spice. On the palate this wine has a wild berry flavor with soft vanilla undertones. The tannins are firm with a balanced acidity and should age well for the next four to six years in the bottle.

The 2006 Longhorn Shiaz has a fruit basket nose of red and blue fruits followed by an intense aroma of black cherries and blueberries, intermixed with subtle pepper spice. On the palate, this refreshing Shiraz is bursting with buueberries and ripe sweet plums. Balanced acidity, backed by smooth fruit tannins lead to an easy drinking wine. Arabian Sangiovese 2005

Our Sangiovese is 100 percent Texas-grown and displays a day-bright cherry color. The nose carries aromas of cherry, berry, and dried cranberry followed by a slight earthiness that lingers delicately on the back end. On the palate this light-bodied red offers a zesty acidity with fresh red fruit flavors flowing through mid-palate followed by a clean and lively finish. Best between two and three years.

Reserve Longhorn Port 2004

The fruit for this Port was sourced from several Texas vineyards and is a blend of approximately 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. Aged in stainless steel tanks for 2 months and French Oak barrels for 30 months, this dessert wine displays a vibrant nose of sweet cherry and blackberry. The fruit for this full-bodied wine suggests that the wine can age another 10+ years in the bottle. A good choice as an after dinner drink and as a complement to a fine cigar. Reserve Whitetail Chardonnay 2005

100% Texas Chardonnay with a straw-yellow color and a day bright clarity, this wine packs a nose punch of tropical fruits encompassing pineapple, banana and mango while the palate defines signature apple and pear with a hint of citrus. A really nice fresh wine that will age very well in the bottle for the next couple of years. 2005 was a great vintage for Texas.

Whitetail Chardonnay 2004

This straw-yellow colored Chardonnay was fermented in stainless steel followed by nine months of aging with French oak staves. Apple, pineapple, pear, caramel and smoke fill the nose; pear and a smoky toast round out the flavor followed by zesty acidity. The fruit of this full-bodied white comes from the Texas High Plains American Viticulture Area.

Sweet Ruby Cabernet 2006

Texas has been producing wonderful wines from this varietal for quite some time. As the name suggest, ruby and violet in color. On the nose are cherry, blackberry and blueberry which continues through to the finish. Medium-bodied with an off dry level of sweetness, this grape was developed in 1949 at UC Davis in California and is a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignan.

Aged 12 months in French Oak barrels, blended with 12.5% Chardonnay and 12.5% Palomino, this full-bodied white displays aromas of grapefruit, orange blossom and passion fruit. Dry in style, this wine comes across the palate with refreshing acidity and ends with a clean crisp finish and a hint of pineapple. It's a perfect companion to salads, pastas, and light fish dishes. The fruit was sourced from Tanglewood vineyards in the Texas Coastal area.

Muscat du Bois 2006

This is an original wine, produced only by Wales Manor. The name Muscat du Bois was approved by the Federal Government specifically for Wales Manor. Muscat comes from the grape Muscat Cannelli. Du Bois comes from the Blanc du Bois grape blended in this wine. In French, du Bois means "of the wood". The Blanc du Bois was aged 12 months in French Oak barrels and is light straw in color with a hint of citrus, honey and light oak. This wine is a blend of 75% Muscat Cannelli and 25% Blanc du Bois.
