The fruit for this Port was sourced from several Texas vineyards and is a blend of approximately 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. Aged in stainless steel tanks for 2 months and French Oak barrels for 30 months, this dessert wine displays a vibrant nose of sweet cherry and blackberry. The fruit for this full-bodied wine suggests that the wine can age another 10+ years in the bottle. A good choice as an after dinner drink and as a complement to a fine cigar. Limited quantities - only 12 cases produced.
